Science and Humanities

During many years, science has been considered more important than humanities. However, the relation between them is more obvious than the differences around these areas.

Scientists think that their discipline is more important than humanities, because their field of study whose aim is finding new theories which lead to new research about life phenomena, the discoveries they have made and the impact that their paradigms caused around the world when they change.

However, there is no one more important than the other. The aim of both disciplines is to find a better way to live. Humanities, as we may know, are centered in social factors whose purpose leads them to solve life's problems from a social point of view. The field of science is centered in constant researches about phenomena which affect human life.

Personally, I think that both fields have the same concern and share the same ideal, only that they perspective of viewing ‘Quality of Life' is different. The same aim from different points of view.
